End Citizens United is here to:

- stop the ever-growing corporate influence on American politics

- reinforce the notion that Freedom of Speech is a right reserved exclusively for the American people

On January 21, 2010, the US Supreme Court ruling of Citizens United v FEC counteracted years of protective legislation responsible for minimizing the effects that corporations can legally have on federal political contests.

The Supreme Court held that the First Amendment right to Freedom of Speech allows for corporations to spend as they please on elections, muting the effects of the American people on the political system by flooding the airwaves with political messages tainted by corporate agendas.
